Speedometer...

Year? Model?

C'mon you are making this hard for us to help you.

The sensor rarely fails, the mechanical clockworks in the speedo are small plastic gears. They are prone to failure. Does the odometer work?

Can you borrow a friend's speedo from the same year/model and check it?

You may end up sending it to North Hollywood Speedometer like I did 2 months ago. My speed indicator was working but the odometer stopped.

No affiliation, etc. Just happy with their work.

Mark

Did you check the abs fuse? & connection to the abs controller?

You can check the sensor with an A/C voltmeter. Jack up the LF wheel. Follow the ABS sensor wire until you find the connector. Disconnect the abs sensor wire & hook up the voltmeter to the two connector leads coming from the sensor (you may need a couple of paperclips to poke into the connector end to give your voltmeter something to clamp to). Spin the tire - you should see a low amount of A/C voltage generated from the sensor when you spin the wheel. Faster you spin, higher the current. It induces current from the metal teeth on the tone ring (on the backside of the hub) passing a small magnet in the end of the sensor.
