Wheel Fitment Question?

What is the general widest or lowest offset wheel you can fit on a C4 narrow body?

I know it will vary a bit depending on wheel widths and offsets, but if you guys can give me a general idea of what fits, in the 17" wheel range, that would help me out.

What if you roll the fenders? Can you get that much out of them by rolling them?

Thanks.

C4 fitments wil be the same as C2. I put togther some info Here

rolling helps but the 993 fenders are incredibly difficult to roll because of their stiffness.

17 or 18 doesn't make much if any difference because with either you use tires that are ~25" +/-

Just noticed that you may have a 964

front is going to be the same as 993 but in back 10" ET65 w/ 15mm spacers is max

I remember a year or so ago, someone suggested that I install a stiffener on my 90 C4 front suspension because I am running 18's. I am about to make an order with pelican and want to add this to the order too. does anyone recall the p/n?

The 993 stering rack brace works fine w/ the 964 manul steering rack but there can be an issue w/ 964 power steering racks. There were at least 2 different racks, ad the fluid I/O lines on at least 1 of them will have to be changed to 993 style lines.

It's best to checck your rack for clearance
Here is one installed on a 993 rack

Bill, do you know what years had problems? I have the 993 brace installed on my 90 C2. While it was tricky to fit it between the lines, there was space for it w/o any modifications:
