You need nothing if jacking from the side at the factory jack points. Just ensure your jack has rubber on the contact point. If you have a less expensive jack with a metal "cup" that is the contact, drop a hockey puck in it. If you use a jack with a flat metal contact on the flat metal jack point, it's pretty easy to have the jack slip off and crunch your fender. BTDT.
You can use the engine case to jack up the rear of the car. Again, cushion it so it isn't metal to metal - use a hockey puck or a piece of wood.

The 993 has big jacking point areas front and rear. There is a fancy part that has a pad that fits in but isn't easy with a lowered car.
I use a hockey puck on a standard jack.

Another hockey puck user. I have four in my garage, cost a buck or two each from the local hockey rink (Snoopy's Home Ice). I use the Escco flat top jack stands under the jacking points.

there are pads w/ slotted holes behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear wheels.
I have a set of steel pads that lock into them, w/ wooden shims for extra height The 4 round silver things in the middle ![]() I have a lift in the garage, when the steel pads are prehung from the lift points it makes it much easier to align the lifting arms.
