disconnect battery,
remove two torx head screws that go into the back of the airbag at @ a 45 degree angle, disconnect the plug, and youre done..

if the steering wheel is straight, the screws are @ 3 and 9 o' clock position and come into the bag at a 45 degree angle towards the center of the bag.

brain fart, i cant remember if there is 2 screws on each side, or one, but wither way, if you look at the back it will be obvious.

e p slick, are you replacing your wheel with a momo steering wheel and hub or non airbag aftermarket unit?

after disconnecting the battery, you may want to wait a bit for any residual capacitor charge to drain prior to messing with the airbag plug.
an unintentional activation would not be fun.

i would leave the ground cable to the battery connected
