993 Warm-ish start problem

I have a 95 (built in '94) 993 C2. Originally Canadian, brought into the states in 2000. 34,000 miles.

The car runs flawlessly, starts right up with no issues after sitting overnight or for a few days. If i've just driven the car, let it sit for under ~30 minutes, starts right up.

If i've driven the car, let it sit for more than 30 minutes, i need to let it crank for 3-5 seconds before it will start, generally having to give it some gas as well.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

It doesn't leak any fluids, only use 93 octane.

If I am to guess it has something to with fuel injectors and what a layman would call the Auto Choke in old world speak. As you know when a car is started cold it idles a little higher till it warms up.
I suspect that system is assuming that the engine is hotter that it is.. Causing it to restrict fuel injected, which is why you have to give it some gas. It is clearly recognizing a cold engine after a long period of time. Maybe there is a thermostat that controls the injector system that is faulty

It was fuel pressure regulator and temperature sensor problem. Fuel pressure regulator is more often.
