Stalling and Whining noise

Just started the other day, the car will die almost every time the clutch is pressed in. The revs will drop to about 600 and then it cuts off. It will start right back up and idle just fine.

Today I noticed a whining noise when the clutch is engaged. It is definitely noticeable sound. It seems to match the Rpms and is not noticeable at idle.

I have started checking the usual suspects, ISV and DME relay. I also have SW chip that I verified was seated okay.

Any thoughts if the 2 are related? Could this be clutch or DMF related?
