Tool 9251 to pull trans input shaft seaL

Hi,

I have the P9251 tool to pull the input shaft seal from my transmission. I have tried to screw the tool into the seal, but does not seam to work. Has anyone tried this and how easy was it to get the seal out.

I've never needed a tool to remove a transmission input shaft seal, so I don't even know what it looks like.
