Wires came out when I Opened the wiring boot on temp gauge. ?

Anyone have a picture of open plug boot on temp side of temp/pressure gauge ? I opened the plug. Wires popped out. Now I don't know which colored wire goes to which pin ? Put them back as I thought they should go and car started up at 6k rpms ?! Moved them around again and now my brake wear lights on and temp doesn't budge ? Wish I'd not touched it now. Help anyone please !!

I think I still have my oil press/temp gauge still halfway seated after replacement. I will check it sometime this PM.
I used to break a lot of stuff during the first 6 months of my 964 ownership. LOL.
Now I just drive it and just enjoy it.

I took a picture and it is impossible to get the wire location without opening the plug.

Here is the schematics of the 964.
Can you see the pin numbers on the plug? If you do, here is a diagram showing the pin numbers.

I believe you're right I'd been better off keeping my hands on the wheel and off my tools

Thanks for your help bazar01. I'll get to my PC and look at the diagram. My eyes aren't sharp enough to see it on my phone.

I mistakingly put a picture of my temp gauge wire issue on my cooling fan thread. That's what I get for being tech challenged.
