Missing Rubber "plug" in the front trunk of my 964
I recently replaced my battery and noticed that one of the 3 holes in the body was missing a plug. Is this whole left open or is it best to have a plug here as well?
It's the front center whole that is missing the plug. See pic The parts diagrams I have seen online don't seem to show anything. Thanks John ![]()

That is more for keeping water out, its the same one used in headlight buckets and as noted by Vandit, it functions as a drain..

John,
I believe that rather than being a plug, those rubber devices are drains. You can probably pick them up any Porsche dealership. If you can't find it locally, contact Andraya at Sunset Porsche (800-346-0182). She'll be able to help you out. Terry |

![]() 911.631.259.02 There's actually 5 on the front tub, but one is hiding underneath the ABS ECU on the left and the other is hiding under the ABS pump bracket on the right. Last edited by Vandit; 11-16-2013 at 02:02 PM.. |

I noticed them missing on my new to me 964. I just went to the auto parts store and used these plugs.

note that the plugs shown by Vandit provide for drainage.
