Between work and travelling I haven't had a good chance to stretch its legs yet but first impressions - Loads of torque, loads of power, sounds diabolical, turn in is sublime and is surprisingly well mannered - compliant over bumps, steering and clutch are solid but no too heavy and the a/c works a treat.

Some drone at ~3000rpm esp under load with the fabspeed rsr exhaust but nothing to worry about at this point.

The guys Auto-Haus guys say it is by far the best 964 they have ever driven and better than their shop car.

Making its Cars and Coffee debut on sunday and have a track day lined up in a few weeks.

Paint colour

Looks great! Love the Colour!
You mention GTS RS Grey Black, do you have the exact Paint Brand or colour code? or which year GT3 RS it is from?

I have a 73 RSR Rep that I'm slowly building and have been tossing up over Black or this sort of colour.

Thanks

Brent

Neato project - but oh no - a stereo - all the music required emanates from the rear 6 speakers/cylinders - HA.

Not my taste in colors, but it's not my car and I am not the one investing and doing the work. That said, very well done......

Thanks for the kind words chaps

I picked up 2nd in people's choice at cars and coffee behind a Alfa 4C fresh from the showroom.

Alfa was the sponsor of the even so read into that what you will but there were many more deserving cars; 57 chevs, mustangs and beetles.

Hoping to go one better at another event this weekend. The following weekend is a drive day (200km of country roads and 50+ porsches!) followed by a track day before Easter.

Code is 7A1 from a 997 series 2. Loving your build thread mate but it's screaming out for an update

No surprise then that I'm yet to use the radio. I imagine it'll get used on longer trips with a lady friend on board.

Nice one. If it wasn't my wife's birthday that weekend I'd be up there with my son.

Any chance you could post a short video of your car - preferably starting up, idling and a bit of a drive by?

WOW!!!
I got my fix this morning, thanks Jeremy.
This car is beautifully built and performs exceptionally well.
Road holding & steering is impeccable, engine is very torquey at 3k and then lights up at 5k.
A very clever design that makes the most of the refinements of the air-cooled series technology but with performance that will more than match the water-cooled or even turbo cars.
I'm calling it a sub 1:10 at Wakefied, easily. No pressure Jeremy....

Was good to catch up Phil and I hope you enjoyed the drive

There is no question whether the car has a 1:10 in it - the question is whether I do!
