Porsche 993 Convertible Top Locking Problem

Like many others, I have occasional problems with my convertible top. When it was recalled, I got the top fixed.

I had it down for too long (learned my lesson), and when I went to put it down, it stopped about 3 inches from the windshield. I loosened the bolt in the back seat, and was able to manually lock the top down. Only problem is, the light did not go off. I took it out for a spin, and everything is fine, except for the light staying on.

Any suggestions on getting the light to go off?

Check your micro switches in the top front and in the rear.
