1990 no spark problem
ok I have no spark at the dist. at all. I replaced the computer under ther driver seat with a one known to be working. I bridge the dme relay and can hear the fuel pump working. I replaced the crank sensor. I swapped out the coils and modules. I am however having issues with the factory computer. the door locks and central lock button do not work as they should. I pulled out the alarm module and found it to be shorted, tried putting a bridge to bypass the alarm and shorted some wires on the alarm module harness. I followed a procedure shown here for bypassing the alarm and sure failed for me. is there an actuall deme relay under the opassenger seat of this 1990 or is the one in the fuse box it?

ok for those going through a problem like I was,was because I googled 1990 964 alarm module bypass and found a photo of one done in a different way that I had previously tried. I did it using a fuse in the bridge nad what do you know it purred, started normally and still is working correctly. so I found out that the alarm does cut off the ignition and fuel all together.
