This is effectively a great video!
Check my tread if you want to know more about the headlights they used...

To me it is like the Emperor's new cloths. People are afraid to call it what it is ugly and the add ons look like add ons. Most don't have the power to justify the look.

I guess it is an acquired taste one I will never acquire. I am sure these will be sitting in years to come waiting for someone to restore it.

Was looking great until they started drilling holes to add those fender add ons. Poor car.

Thanks for the vid - enjoyed it. RWB is polarizing for sure - and while it's not a style I could drive around in around town - I appreciate the style (dare I say like? :-) and the cars. The owners name seemed familiar and once the video got towards the end and we saw his uber cool blue 964T (has a thread in 930 forum) that confirmed it. Cool.
Looks like a super cool shop, too - saw a few Lancia's in the background - at least one Delta Integrale. Never a bad thing.

Thanks again.

Every video I see of this guy contains vignettes of him staring off into space blowing cigarette smoke out of his nose. Add the wingback chairs and you have pure, effete silliness. Does he ever drive a car?

Does he do anything to the car than can't be easily repaired? Does he modify anything like the Lancia, or the MB 190SL that appears in the background on the video?

It's ridiculous how people think this Nakai guy is some kind of genius or a god. They guy hangs on oversized parts, and he's the second coming.

I think if this " Nakai guy " had the Mona Lisa portrait. He would probably cover it with his rendition of one of those velvet dogs playing poker. He's definitely got a audience though ?

Oh come on, the car looks pretty cool. Race car for the street and all that stuff. Over the top? Of course. That's kind of the point.

Some people like that! Not everyone. And that's OK.

I personally don't like the fact that he just takes GT2 flares and other GT2 variant parts and makes them a bit wilder and everyone goes crazy. There's truly nothing innovative about this kit, as far as I see it (along with most other true Porsche enthusiasts, I feel) it's nothing but a replicated kit. My brother has a 993 GT2 tribute and hates driving it around town or to shows now simply because the fanboys will ask him "why did you make a rep of the rwb".. it's ridiculous.

Now, I will say that the guys overseas with RWB's actually drive and enjoy their cars.. I love that! They're not just some glorified show car that sits up somewhere like 80% of the RWB's built here in the states are.

Not that it matters though, just my two cents.
