Turn signal fails when engine is running

Hi there, I have a passenger side turn signal that fails only when engine is running. Here are the details:

-2008 Porsche 911 CS4 (997.1) with after market LEDs
-It’s likely not the vehicle “not liking LEDs” since drivers side and front LEDs are working fine as they have for more than a year since I acquired vehicle.
-Likely not the aftermarket LED taillight, itself, since I bought brand new Morimoto LEDs and passenger side blinker still fails (driver’s side worked fine)
-Likely not the passenger side rear wire harness; I replaced it yesterday with a new one and get same results.
- Likely not the flasher relay (if there is one in a 997.1) since the blinkers/hazards work fine when engine is off and when the passenger side taillight is removed entirely. The blinker ONLY fails when the passenger side taillight is in and the engine is running. It works as expected when the engine is not running.

Next step—unless anyone has any better ideas (I'm all ears!)—is to:

-Replace the pigtail connector that the tail light wire harness plugs into (see attached pic). I don't love this idea because I need to splice into the wires coming from the vehicle. (I’m a novice at all of this, especially wiring, but have spent a solid month diagnosing this issue.)

If I replace the pigtail connector and it doesn't resolve the issue, I assume the problem is further up the line. There is something called a Turn Signal Flasher Lamp Blinker Module Control Unit (99761820100) that I probably don't want to mess with. I believe there is also a Rear Control Module that I probably don’t want to mess with either.

As far I can could tell, there is no “flasher relay” on the 997.1. I looked near the fuse box, and I looked/listened beneath the VIN plate in the frunk. It’s conceivable that it’s behind the speedometer/tachometer, but I’m not about to pull apart the dashboard.

Any advice would be most appreciated! Thank you!
