Key programer around la

Hello all

I purchased a key from ebay with the MATMOS number matching my original key.
Got it cut to fit my car, and I know need to find someone to program it.

Went to a Porsche dealer that wouldn't program it because I've received it with not factory tag.

Do someone know a person capable of programing the transponder chip and the door opener?

Thanks!

Adonai

You don't program the key, you program the car to accept the key, and that will require the dealer PIWIS system, and the factory tag, and the car's IPAS codes.

You need the vehicle's learning/teaching codes which can only be had from the dealer.

Without that code you're SOL.

Many independent shops (like ours) have diagnostic tools that can program the module to accept the new key. We do this regularly. However, we do need to obtain the proper codes from Porsche to enable us to perform this work.

I am sure there is an independent shop in your area that can do this.
