First DE, WOW

Did my first DE at BeaveRun, PA last weekend,
It was awesome, never imagined what all it took to get around
a track at speed.
can't upload a pict of my car at speed, shots are 3.5 MB were taken by track photographer.

Here's a picture of a Beck 904 replica I believe, did some nice hot laps.

Any way the experience was great, got a great instructor too.
My car has 2.4T, 22/28 adj. sways new front bilstein strut inserts,
RA-1's 15", full front FG. car is very tight right now.
All the work paid off. Yeah!!
Now off to register for the next DE.
(Edit) I didn't do all the work but have owned and worked on it for 10 months.

here's a pict

Congrats. The slope just gets more slippery from here.

Luckly most of the other laps all 4 were down, but the picture looks just right.

And what do you want when you have a 996 on your a$$. LOL

Ok Gino, now join the rest of the Cleveland area guys and go to Mid Ohio with Nasa 7/13-/15 www.racenasa.com. You can run HPDE, same as DE, and watch the race grouips run in between. The guy that ran the Beaver Run event will be ther too running in GTS3, against me.

Just checked it out, seems like groups 1,2 & 4 are sold out for the weekend, all open for friday.

Was thinking of possibly going anyway.

We'll see.

Four wheels down means you're not pushing it hard enough.

Beautiful car. Welcome to the addiction.

Gino,
Mid Ohio Porsche Club is doing a DE event at Putnam (just west of Indianapolis) on 14/15 Jul. Lots of space still open there... I'll be there and this will be my 4th overall DE, they get more and more fun each time!

Thumbs up

Great-looking narrow body car! And you've really maximised that rear fender well.

Also, it is cornering really flat w/ those big T-bars. I'd say that you've got a really cool car there, and it looks like you know how to steer it. Congrats!

Thanks Denis,

The car feels really tight, the P.O. did a nice job with the tires 225/50/15 rear 205/50/15 fronts, along with the adj sways, which I have set in mid range front & back.
I usually loosen the front a bunch when I Auto-x.

Gino
