Where do I find harness mounting hardware?
I am looking for hardware to attach my lapbelts to the existing seatbelt anchor points. I understand I can go with longer hardened bolts and mount the OEM belts and specialized brackets (with eyelets?) for my harnesses to snap into.
Where do I find those specialized brackets with eyelets for my belts to clip into?

If there are not any local race prep or supply shops in your area, try Racer Parts Wholesale.

io has the threaded eye bolts that allow you to maintain the stock belts when desired and clip in the harness when going to track events. you just remount the stock belts with the eyebolt, just make sure you get the longer threaded ones. i had to buy the clips from io port too and replace the other harness mounting equipment. the lap belt i had to cut the stiching and get the clip in units resewn in. the adjustable lap belt allowed me to sew it with 2x the overlap and it was glued before sewing by a shoe repair guy. its passed evey tech of the car thus far.

If you use the clip in type belt attachments, you might want to get some small cotter pins or wire as most organizations want the clips fastened so they can not come off.

On my SC, I used eyebolts in place of the stock seat belt bolts, and snap-hooks on the belts. I am pretty sure I got them from Racer Wholesale, and the whole setup was under $50
![]() ![]() Aren't the seat belts mounted differently on the later cars? I seem to recall someone talking about them mounting to the seat rail on the tunnel side or something like that. Tom |
