Has anyone replaced their engine frame rails with tubular rails?
Hey Guys:
Anyone on here damaged their stock engine rails (the 2 that support the engine), and replaced them with steel rubing and basically made their own rails? If so, can you show me some pics of how you approached it. After this weekend, I need to do that sort of thing.... Brian

Hey Brian,
My new track monster has this done to it. The previous owner of the car (who is a good friend) did this exact thing you are wondering about. Let me see if I can find some pictures and if not I will go get some for you.

Given my recent encounter with a wall at Sears Point, I would like to see this too.

I have some pictures of the rear perpendicular section done, but not the whole thing. I'll tryt and submit them when I get home. Is the damage all the way to the cross-member?

In my case, NO. But they've been beat up enough that I may as well replace them, and at the same time make my life easier.

This one has over 42 spam posts. I can't delete them all by hand. Asked Wayne to delete user and all posts. Wish I had the authority but I don't
