Cayman Interseries & CaymanSpec Racing Create a Combined Class with the POC
Great news for anyone looking to race a Cayman on the West Coast!
Cayman Interseries cars are now fully eligible to run with the Porsche Owners Club as part of the CaymanSpec Racing (CSR) class. This combination will allow both generations of Cayman race cars to compete head to head. To support this integration Ron Barnaba and the Interseries Team are a forming an alliance with Kevin Roush and GAS Motorsports to race and demo an Interseries car at upcoming POC racing events. Please see this link for more information: Cayman Interseries going West - Here is the Interseries "Salzburg" car on track: ![]() Cheers,

Now that is interesting. West Coast finally. Later model Caymans, no motor mods for oiling, Weld in cage and go.
Will the wing and PSM changes be crappy Interseries Proprietary items? Will it still be that no one can get them unless we order a $$$$ car from Napelton Porsche? As you know, people can build them for much less.

I find those Interseries cars appealing but as Chad says, the $100K-ish price point I recall reading about sure seems out of whack compared to building one locally or sticking to a different platform.
