Clutch for race car 915 box
Hi Guys ,my road clutch has finally slipped so time to replace .As we know the 915 box is not the strongest of boxes and I am thinking that a sport clutch would be a better choice than a puck style racing clutch ?
Looking for advice and brand that you would suggest cheers Dave |

Hi Dave,
I have always used the Kennedy Engineering Products (KEP) pressure plate and clutch. The stage 2 with a steel pressure plate face on my 360hp 3.6lt race car and never had any problems apart form normal wear and tear. Porsche Clutches

Clutchnet makes nice discs. Kennedy uses them with their clutches.
Clutch Kits | Clutch Discs | Pressure Plates | Flywheels by Clutchnet (626) 448-7432 Don't be turned off by the puck style discs in general. As long as it's spring-centered, it's not going to always be harsh or abrupt engagement. The harsh engagement is caused by solid center discs with no spring damping The puck style discs are by nature lighter but still offer plenty of friction effect.
