Lap time index / collection?
As I'm starting to get into DE I'd like to be able to compare my times against similar vehicles. The few events I've been to there hasn't been much in the aircooled showing. Is there a chance members here could post up times and maybe track pointers?
For example I'm headed to thunderbolt at njmp in a few weeks. Now I'm still very much green but what is a decent time for your basic 65-89 911? I'd like to know if I'm running 1:4x that that is 20 seconds slower than someone with moderate ability. It helps me understand my threshold vs the car.

Don't worry about times for at least a couple of years. The goal when you're learning is to drive right, not fast.

Lap times are the last thing you should be concerned with.

I agree you shouldn't be overly concerned with laptimes at this stage. If you want an idea though see what pca class your car fits into and look up past events at the tracks you run on the Mylaps website or the local pca site for track records. Bear in mind the cars setting records are most likely heavily modified with race tires and an experienced driver..
