Vibration and shutter
Hello. I'm helping a friend just bought 2005 Base model Rhd v6 Cayenne.
It starts shuttering at 60kph especially when deceleration. Check engine light came on and the dealer cleared O2 and MAS sensor. Still same problem. No light now. I visually inspected the prop shaft hanger bearing. It looks very clean and doesn't appear loose. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How is it on start-up? Does it idle rough or is there any misfire codes? It may be your ignition coils, one or more may have slight crack in it. I also had another weird thing on my Cayenne S (4.5L), two of my spark plugs were slightly loose and it caused some shuttering and rough idle. I just re-fastened them to proper torque and problem went away.

I drove it today. It's the transmission banging and clanging up and downshifting. Seems to be a known problem. Check engine light came on while driving. The prop shaft bearing is good. I wonder if changing the atf will help...
