924 Bug - Need help
I have a german 924 turbo motor with the race head. I don't want to waist it, but the car is getting a V8. I want to put this engine in a 1970 bug. I dyno'd the car before I pulled the engine. 214HP 234FT/LB to the wheels. What concerns might I have with structural integrity? Also, would the stock standard transmission handle this load? If not, how could I fix this? Last, is there even a way to mount this engine to a bug transmission? Sorry for so many questions, but I only have about 1 day to decide on the bug purchase.

the engine should be similar to a vw watercooled engine, similar enough that a Kenedy adaptor could be used tomake it to a VW transaxle
as for how well the transaxle will hold up, depends on how you drive. consider a beefed up tranny, or a 915 swap.
