Nice project, and not that it matters because of what you are doing to the car.... but it is not a Euro Carrera. It is a 911SC, big difference.

i understand what you are saying, but think about this. it is a non sunroof, non foglight, non power windows euro car, with euro trans with higher gear ratios like the carrera 3.0 car. so its a lightweight version with the euro higher hp engine. its as close to a carrera 3.0 car as you will get without the price tag. but i know what you are saying

you should put a G50 in there, that 915 will have a hard time with 550hp regardless what you do to it... ask me how I know!

I agree that a 915 won't be able to hold the torque, if G50 is out of your price range you could probably pick up a 930 for $6-8k. I've been told they're good for 700hp.

i have a g50 03 5speed and a g96 6speed. i have talked to danmfg in las vegas about the 915. all agree the 915 can be built to take 450ish. danmfg is going to do the build with 7075 bearing retainer, and 7075 side plate. but first start with cryo ing the entire gear assembly and shafts, then rem coating all the gears, then the 7075 parts. and i was told no clutch dumps. i dont drive that aggressive anyhow. it will live. thank you all for your concerns tho.

as some of you have suggested... i am now thinking the 915 has to go lol. im thinking the g96 6 speed trans would be my best choice. stronger trans, stronger axles, better shifting...
