" Installing VW type 1 to 901 trans "

What parts I need to install a VW type 1 engine to 901 trans ?
( Flywheel, cluth, pressure plate,starter,etc)

I believe you need an early 912 flywheel and broden tube. You also need to fabricate a front trans mount and cut a hole lower in the bacl of the tunnel. The book "VW Beeetle Performance Guide" I think that's the name (It's a blue book with a Beetle on the cover) has a section that discusses this. Also there are a couple of web sites that have good info. Send me an e-mail at my home address ptinucci@worldnet.att.net and I'll get you the addresses. I;m also going to put a 901 transaxle in my Beetle.
