Value of 2.2L 'T' engine

I purchased a '71T in January it has the correct year/type motor but not the original serial number. Engine also has Weber 40 IDAs and not the correct Zeniths. Engine also has a Marelli distributor. I knew all this going in so no big deal. As the car has also been 'updated' to a 915, I am planning on replacing the 2.2 with a larger engine during the refurbishment. My limited experience with the motor is that it started an ran fine to put the car on and off the trailer when I bought it. The prior owner stated that he rebuilt it recently and I could put any buyer in touch with him if they wanted to talk to him about the rebuild specifics. I noticed that the motor did pop a bit at idle but it started right up even in the Canadian January cold. The previous owner suggested that the carbs needed a bit of tuning as he believed they were jetted for a 2.4.

So, based upon that info, any idea what the engine might be worth?

Regards,
Todd
