912 Values?

Watching "What's my car worth?" on Velocity TV, and the "Mailbag" segment had them value a fully restored 1967 912 in correct graphite grey, very clean looking, matching # engine, ~85000 original miles.

They suggested a sales price of $15,000(!)

Am I wrong in thinking they were off by $10k or more if the car is a condition 2 car, as described?

The rising long hood tide has been lifting all boats, and I seem to remember unrestored 912s with serious needs trading at $15k.

easy $25K + if done correctly.
likely slate grey, not sure graphite gray was offered back in 67.

I'm with Matt, track that sucker down $500 reward <(")

Seriously. That car fetches >$20k all day. Post it on Pelican with an ask of $30k, and I wonder if you have folks calling - slate (not graphite) is a very in-demand color.

Good catch.

It was from the 2011 season!

i didn't realize the episodes were that old.

2-3 years makes a big difference in this case!
