Engine build cost

What is everyone's opinion on the cost to reassemble this engine. Obviously the pistons are missing, but most of the remainder appears to be there. Not the best job of cataloging the parts for sure.
With 996 4S's selling in the low to mid 20's I doubt this would be cost effective.

The rest of the car seems well cared for.

I'm not real fond of the color of this one, or the wheels for that matter, but it seems to be a good comparable. And it's nearby.

It's kind of like a 944 or a 928, many times it costs way more to rebuild than the car is worth.

Yes, and the car 'does NOT runs and drives.' Way too much of a headache. You'd be in well over $20K on this heap before it 'runs or drives.'
