Mirror distance

Can someone please measure and give me the distance down from the top outside to the spot where a 911 mirror should mount?
I plan to make a spot on the outside for location and then glue it on....

Can anyone point me to an article on Targa Top rebuilding that INCLUDES info on the "webbing" and on positioning of the 3 floating alum panels?
If you have ANYTHING I am willing to buy it.

Help!!!! Trying to rebuild a Targa top that someone else took apart...and didn't save fabric pieces...

Ditto on review of opinions here. I opted for the oil fed tensioners, and have never been sorry. They are not all that expensive and if you're doing any other engine work, I strongly recomend them.

Not Charging

If the D1, (blue) wire is not connected at the gauge the alternator will not charge. I know from first hand experience, had a broken wire at the VR and had a H**L of a time tracking it down.
