OK.... I dont think thats earth. I bet the final cylon is there though. How it got there I dont know but I think they will find the final cylon on this planet. the 4 cylons found the 5th and now they will go off and find earth.

I also wonder, if this is earth it makes sense that its destroyed. I know I dont want to watch 4 episodes full of humans studying and interrogating the other humans and cylons. That would suck bad!!

Same here. I think "Starbuck" mentioned during an interview that this episode could have been the series finale if the writers' strike continued and they were unable to shoot the rest of the season. That might explain why everything quickly unfolded in the half hour period.

Yeah, but Gaeta confirmed the location of the constellations - they matched the stars they found in the tomb/map room on Kobol.

I think when he said "constellations are a match" it was referring to the predicted visible constellations that would be visible if they'd jumped into the point in space they were intending to, not a comparison to what was seen on Cobol. It was just a cross-reference of a successful jump and to verify they hadn't screwed up and gotten off-course. At least that's how I took it.

The more interesting question is how the "time-loop" is created.

This has happened before and will happen again stuff.

Re-watching the "Revelations" episode, I caught something I didn't catch before.

When Diana (No. 3) is talking with Pres. Roz, she tells Roz she wants the cylons that are hiding in the fleet. Roz says, "You mean the final five? They are in our fleet?" Diana replies, "There are only four of the final five in your fleet."

So given Diana's comments, the fifth cylon of the "final five" was not part of the fleet. That rules out:
Gaeta
Baltar
Starbuck
Zarek

But it may still be:
- Billy
- Ellen
- Elisha (Prez. Ros' spiritual leader)
- Someone who was left behind on Caprica after the cylon destruction ??

Hmm - 8 months to wait...

I think the world that they found is not Earth.

What did the Hybrid say? I think it was: The 3 will give them the 4. The 4 will give them the 1 and the 1 will lead them to earth.

They haven't found the 1 yet, therefore it isn't earth.
