AA and ebay again (sheesh)

Check out this poor 914. "Unmolested", "came with sway bars, and center console" where the hell are they now?

"quarter panel and fender damaged is easily repaired"

Yeah right - I spent hours getting this area straight on my car. This POS is much worse than the 2.0 I bought last year for half that price.

We have totally serviced this car so it is ready for the drive home. The transmission is smooth, the engine runs well but has a number four cylinder weak rod bearing.
If your home is in Atlanta...

I'd really hate to see what they'd call a basket case in need of TLC.

The other picture - the one showing the rust on the floor pan with the note - floorpands almost perfect. You could put a finger through that stuff.

"Great Interior" - Yeah right

And people _wonder_ why AA has a bad reputation? This borders on false advertising. If it didn't have pictures, it would be false advertising.

That's not rust, it's just a little surface oxidation Battery tray? It probably doesn't exist, they could have touted it as a 'weight-saving' feature ...

If they can positively tell me that the rod bearing that's bad is on the #4 cylinder, they are better at diagnosing mechanical stuff than i will ever be. How can they tell for sure without taking the engine apart?
I might be able to guess at it and get it right 25% of the time.........

Yes, but it's "Fully Serviced and ready to go home"

If they "think" there is a bad bearing, it's probably F***ed!

Fender
Non Standard steering wheel
Missing carpet
Missing brake pedal cover
Missing seat cushion
Cracked dash board
MIssing center tray
Missing access plate for the shiftrod and center tunnel
Headlight cover
2 missing headlight trims
no rocker covers
missing horn/foglight grill
crappy wheels
2 missing side markers
broke heatlight bucket and missing lens
rear left fender damaged
Broken rear tailight
RUst on the rear trunk lid and _something is wrong with the latch.
driver seat cushion has a hole in it
Car has been repainted
There _IS_ rust in the passenger floor pan
Rear trunk lid shows several spot of rust
Broken targa clip - driver side
rear bumper is damaged
no trunk seal in the rear
It's leaking oil (Passenger side) A significant amount, as the puddle became larger from the 2nd photo to the 5th photo
Missing spare tire and hold down equipment
There is definitely rust in the front trunk
And I think there is something funky about the front wheel alignment (Look at the space above the wheel on the passenger side compared to the driverside)

And what BS - "Non-appearence group 2.0 - very rare" Geez. They stripped this car and now they are trying to pawn it off as a rare car because it doesn't have the normal equipment?

They _MUST_ believe the Ebay public are a bunch of rubes.

James

Did I miss anything?

This auctioneer may not be affilated with AA. They are brand new to eBay. The real AA has a different seller ID.

This guy is obviously a ruse. But hey!!!!ya gotta laugh at the attempt. I have seen worse.

No it's not a "ruse". Click on "View Sellers Other Auctions". Click on the Paypal link. It's AA. Just another employee at AA with a new ID!

It's real.
