Question 996 brakes and rotors on a carrera suspension?

Couldn't pass this set up at the Stoddard meet today, complete Brembo black 996 brakes and rotors for $375. I'm sure I can machine up a nice set of adapters for the calipers but what about the rotors? I did a search and found nothing definative. These will be going on my new '73 project using a complete carrera suspension. I'll be using 17" wheels so that shouldn't be an issue. Here are my two basic concerns. Can the rotors be made to work and second what MC do I need. I have an SC MC for the car currently.

You will have the same issues as those using 964 calipers, only slightly fewer of them. The biggest issue is that the 996 calipers want 318x28mm front and 299x24mm rear rotors. Check out VCI's site for additional info.

remember to report back when done.
I'm thinking about the same and already bought the calipers and rear rotor.
However my car is also for street use and want to retain e-brake so I'll opt for 309*28 mm 930 rear rotor and widen up the rear caliper.
Standard 996 (318*28) front rotor can be installed if you mill a few mm of the outer edge of the hub and install rotor on wheel side of the hub.

Palle,

I was looking at the suspension and thought the same thing about the fronts, seems I could turn about 0.125" of on my lathe. As far as the rears, I'm going to make them work and delete the E-brake. It's primarily be a track car anyway and I could install a rear brake parking valve if I can remember who sells them. You hold the pedal down and pull up on the valve then release the pedal. The brakes are held until you push the valve back down.

Here is how it looks, see it in background.
Pic is from beepbeep's project. He's not using 996 calipers, but big red as I recall. Rotor installation will be similar.
