Squeaking/Rubbing Noise from Steering wheel
Hi~
I have a 1998 328is. I live in Southern California. It's getting cooler here in the evenings and mornings, around 63 degrees (i know i know, nothing like the midwest or east coast!), anyway, my steering wheel makes a dull rubbing/squeaking noise when I turn it usually to the left, and it's only when it's colder like around 65 degrees or lower. Once the car is warmed up and runing for about 5 mins, there's no more squeaking. Anyone know what it is, and how I can fix it? Is it anything serious? If not, it's seriously annoying!! Thanks! |

Check out the links in this tread at let us know if that may be the problem. It is very common by the way.
