Center Stand bolt hole size, Staintune baffles?

Well, as I posted in the "Show your Scoot" thread, I'm a "legitimate" member of the boards now, having brought home a Mandarin '99 this weekend. As usual, none of my co-workers can believe that it's as old as it is, it looks that clean and modern.

Just have a few questions, though.

It has a Staintune exhaust on it, sans baffles. I love the way it sounds, but it can get to be a little bit drone-y on the highway. Does anyone have any baffles laying around that they're not using? Any other reliable source besides factory direct and California Triumph?

Also, the center stand appears to be rubbing on the rear torque arm. I already measured, and it's the stock 385mm arm (bummer), and the extension on the pipes is in place, but the center stand never quite reaches the stopper on the pipes. There's a hole in the center stand at just about the exact place where it would contact this extension, so I was going to add a nut, bolt, and rubber stopper at that place. Does anyone know the size of that hole off the top of their head?

I'm sure I'll be hanging out around here more often now that I have a reason to be here, and I look forward to eventually getting to meet some of youse guys.

Have a great day!

Any Staintune dealer can supply the baffles. I believe they are around $60 a pair.

that hole in your c-stand is where the stock rubber bumper attaches. extends about 1" from stand.

Stock bump stop, you say? To the parts fiche I go! Thanks!

edit: only 3 bucks? A deal at twice the price for a BMW part, I say!

For anyone else's future reference, according to the fiche on the web, it's part number 46 52 2 335 616

squall,

the Australians supply that rubber bumper in just about every bottle of wine. just have to source yourself a sheet metal screw, then trim to fit.

'course the wine is likely to be more than 3 bucks...

Ahh, yes, but if it's already been consumed, and the cork is laying around, then it's essentially free.

I think I still have 1/4 bottle of Yellow Tail Riesling at home, come to think of it...
