914-6 Factory Rear Brakes
Do 914-6 factory rear brakes have vented rotors? Thave 911 style parking brakes right? Don't they use 911 rear rotors? They are the best rear brakes to have on a 914 right?

IIRC the only difference is a very slight increase in piston size. I can't remember if the pad is any bigger. Either way, from what I have heard, the improvement in braking is very tiny.
Some guys have fabbed nice setups using the 911 vented rotors and parking brake setup in the rear of the 914, but that was not a normal production 914-6 setup.

914/6 rears are similar to 911 rears
38mm pistons, larger pads can be converted for venting with spacers details are available

Uhm... They are a lot more similar to the 914-4 rear calipers than to the 911 ones. The whole odd adjuster bit, the mechanical actuation of the inboard piston, the overall size and shape. About the only difference, really, is the size of the piston.

Where do you get the spacers?

You get them from early 911 calipers. Some of the very early 911s with vented rotors used the same calipers as the earlier ones with solid rotors. But a spacer was used in between the caliper halves. This spacer works on 914-4 or 914-6 rear calipers as well. The O-rings are hard to find, though.

If your looking for 914-6 rear calipers or rebuild kits there the same as a ferarri dino rear brakes. My 914-6 rear calipers were leaking and I got rebuild kits from Ferrari. They also told me they still sell new rear calipers.
