09 Jetta subframe drop for arm removal?
I have a 09 Jetta Wagon with 2.5L regular 6 speed automatic. I need to replace my control arms but the clearance for the front bushings bolts is tight. Do I need to drop the subframe some to get them off?

Welcome to the forum! I've attached a DIY tech article from our site on replacing the control arms. If you have any further questions, feel free to post a Comment just below the article and someone will get back to you with more details. Best of luck!

Yes, we do not have anything for the MKV. You should be able to drop the subframe slightly without removing it completely, but it might also give you more room to work if you remove it. However, it's not required.
