Sounds like the whole bit about the chevy pistons was BS then... making this whole thread pointless.
How do I tell if they are cast or forged? All stock pistons were forged, right? I think these have casting marks on the bottom but I am not sure.
I guess this is not really very important since I will probably be replacing the P/C anyway. Some of the cylinder bores are pretty badly rusted and I have not even measured wear yet.
