Hmmmm- Thinking of converting my 911ST racecar to a street rod.
Keep as 911ST or convert to street hot rod?????? After seeing what the Blue SC went for on BAT that was converted back to a street hotrod, I have been thinking of converting my ST racecar to a hot rod street car. Since I have another racecar (That is much cheaper to run), I just do not race it as often. The last race was 2 years ago at Coronado. I would never dream of selling it, even with crazy unsolicited offers I have received.
I figure I would get to enjoy it more often driving around, BUT I do have a matching number 72 T I could finish first. It has been stripped and is ready for paint- The motor is completely rebuilt with MFI pump and everything else.
I think I just talked myself into waiting it out. Maybe I'll think about it more after I finish the 72T.... It sure would be fun to be able to drive it on the street whenever I wanted though. There have been countless times I just wanted to jump in and go for a spin! Converting would solve that.
