I am doing my first oil change on my 2.5 Jetta wagon today. I agree on the reliability and am a fan for daily driving it but NOT on the gearing or power. It is a dog, you have to wind the hell out of it to get any power. Coming from a TDI it was a disappointment, including the 5 speed. The gears are long and far apart.
