Nice to see that this thread has turned into a dash know-it-all thread.
At least it hasn't turned into a "I am just trying to get the family and estate the most money so they can send all their grand kids to college and end up with the car for a reasonable price" morality thread.
The very peculiar thing about the value of these cars in monetary means is that 1) Now that they are worth much more money people are torn but money always wins, and 2) When I go I would much rather have the car go to an enthusiast and hobby person but it won't matter because I will be dead and my children will probably need the money so once again money wins.
Hopefully you get the car for a reasonable price and do not pull the dash out of it.
