shopping for paint on price is the wrong way to do it..
1st thing you may find is even though one maybe lower cost it may take an extra coat to get the same mil build for coverage. meaning glasurit may take 2 coats to cover and with another brand it may take 3 coats for the same coverage aka mil build. so in the long run it's not a lower cost. we found this to be the case when we demoed PPG in my shop.
also with many other things to look at is not just what the Gal of paint will cost but what it costs for a sprayable gal of paint that would be the cost of it mixed with hardener and reducer.
with some paint systems your having to buy different hardeners and reducers for your primers sealers and top coats. this adds to the over all cost to refinish a car.
one more thing to look at is some paint manufactures will charge more for there reds , yellows , oranges. and less for colors like white. with glasurit all there colors are the same price so you will spend the same amount for reds as you would for whites.
