So from searching far and wide, the consensus I found was wurth satin (trim too).
If it’s like rustoleum 777 (another favorite satin for wheels). There is no texture to it.
I’ve owned mine since ‘86 and it has/had texture (except where it wore off and I painted it).
If I go to the trouble of removing my bar and painting I want close to the original texture.

Final coat from rattle can at 3 feet away ontop of a wet coat. Claimed he got the correct texture. I guess I could experiment on some aluminum with Wurth satin and report back. Just worried about running/runs.

Professional painters/restorers must use the “textured” polyU like the bulletin claims. Where can one find this?
