Here is the meat of Jerome's blog referenced in post 74 of that linked thread

"In the 18 emails that have gone back and forth between Mr. Kirk and myself, I reported a number of measurements from my car that I was asked to make, David did tests of the tool, and he diagnosed that there was an invisible burr from the manufacturing process on the screw driver bit."

His problem is the burr problem spoken of earlier. That is not OP's problem, OP's problem is that the kirk tool will not sit on the rib because the portion of the kirk tool that rests on the rib of the rocker is not wide enough to rest on it (that's why he lined it up in the pic)

HOWEVER, in the same thread, FRANKC in post 77 has the problem that the OP has, which is to say the rocker rib is not fitting in the kirk tool.

The thread ends with FrankC not following up, but it shows he's online right now. Someone could PM him.
