I also had an upholsterer take apart my seat bottom and adjust the webbing and padding so I sat even a little lower. My brother has comfort seats in his 79, with newer covers and reworked padding and his seats sit higher for me. I much prefer the lower position. Point is, with a little work at the upholstery shop you can dial in whatever you want, and its a bit easier with the sport seats since the middle sections are separate.
