Could it also be the bushing that broke? Based on our tech article, the bushing can cause a lot of play in the wheel as well. Link below.

I need to do this also but when you click on the link provided, from Wayne's book, in pic #2 it shows a slotted metal bushing, yet when you click on the "click here to order" it shows a completely different part. And if you go to the parts section I can't find the slotted metal bushing anywhere. Yet, by coincidence I guess, I got an email from FCP Euro showing the exact part shown in Waynes book.
