If you do not have a diagnostic device you can try the following.
A. Turn on the ignition, do not start engine. Check that all the warning lights that should be on are on. This includes switching headlights on to if the green light for this works.
B. It could be a poor contact to the Central Informer unit, a control box located under the dash by the steering wheel, at least on LHS cars. Just disconnect it, check the contacts and reconnect. This might solve it.
