The banjo bolts, with restrictor jet, comes with the APE Stage II chips. It slows the air to the wastegate. The stock wastegate is crap for performance but a good safety factor for people who try to add boost without learning how to do it properly. It has leakage built into it...as posted here many times. The stock boost level for a 951, factory setting was about 10psi.

Info:
Stage II chips w/banjo bolt from APE: Great first upgrade; wrong banjo bolt, computer sees a slight overboost,

IF you have Stage II chips, then buy the LBE, put the stock banjo bolt back in.

If you buy an aftermarket wastegate and manual controller, depending on what you have, LBE or jetted banjo bolt must go. Also with a manual boost controller, you will get rid of the cycling valve.
