We all know the stock shifter of a 915 gearbox isn't working perfect. And I know the are a lot of great solutions out there to improve the shifting experience like Wevo, Seine Systems and some others.
However, as all those unfortunately exceeded my budget, I was searching for something way cheaper and ended up with a simple spring:
This spring can be mounted in the stock shifter without big efforts or any changes to the stock setup itself (so can also be removed easily if needed).
As a result, the shifter remains per default in the position 3rd/4th gear plane. So if you want to use the first (or second) gear, you will need to push the shifter to the left - like in modern gearboxes.
