In my quest to get my windows aligned, and fix an intermittent drivers side window: I had the joyous pleasure of pulling the window reg today from the drivers door. (...note to self, if that job is on the list again, the car may be *for sale*).
Anyhow, so that we FIX all of the seals, and make it so that the tracks have nice guides in there - the glass came out as well. Along for the ride: this seal that kind of acts as a squeegee on the exterior of the glass, and is kind of attached (or so it looks) to the black body/door trim. ...It is broken, and thats getting replaced as well. ...what is that part called? PET seems a bit ambiguous about THAT part number.
For the purists: no worries, that felt targa bar seal is on the list as well. Just not today.
