I have a 2 year old Bosch dishwasher. Just when everyone is home for "shelter in place" it gives up the ghost.

Surprisingly little information out there that's specific to this washer and the issues I see.
This is the most recent Silent Plus 46 dbA SHS Model that has only LED controls, no display. The failure is that it does not start, the cycle light just blinks and it beeps when closed. This is apparently a sign that there is an error.
I tried to read the error code by going through the proper button sequence. I found sparse information online how to do that and only later found the brief repair manual in the back of the washer. I may have deleted the errors stored in the machine.
The error codes are displayed by blinking lights which can be decoded. It reads "no error", equal to E:00 if it had a display. I did run the factory test program, following the repair instructions. The test program runs through until the "clean" button comes on. Reading the error after the test program it is still "no error".
It is possible that the test program hangs up in a later drying step, i.e. if it doesn't reach the proper temp (?) but for all I see, it finishes and then I still don't get an error message. Yet, going back to normal operation, I still get the fault beep / blinking cycle light.
Any ideas??? Any experts!?
I am a day away from throwing this thing out and buying a new one. Even without a shelter in place, by the time you call service and they come do something, you are 2/3 of the cost of a new washer.
I will get a different brand. May go back to American with a garbage disposal working in the bottom. Besides the Bosch crapping out on me, it had constant issues with stuff getting past the trap, clogging the drain / pump. (That is NOT the issue here).
Thanks!
